We also offer our pure essential oils in an aromatherapy oil blend, these are still our quality essential oils pre-diluted and ready to use. At a 6% dilution most can be used for anointing oils or massage oil. However, if using on the skin for a massage oil you should test them prior to massage, some many need a little more dilution.

We offer a nice line of pre-made unscented lotion bases, great for massage lotions, body lotion, and many melt and pour soap bases (MP Soaps). Ready and easy to use, can be used as an unscented base or melted then add your fragrance oils or essential oils and or soap colorants, pour into one of our beautiful soap molds to create beautiful soaps for your bath.

What are essential oils? Depending on the species of plant, essential oils are extracted from the petals, leaves, roots, buds, twigs, rhizomes, wood, bark, resin or fruit. In a few cases, every part of the plant growing above ground is used. There are several ways of obtaining the oil, the most common being steam distillation. This involves putting the plant material in a large, closed container, known as a vat, and forcing steam through it. The heat and pressure release the tiny droplets of essential oil from the plant, which then rise with the steam, out through the spiral tube. This cools the steam and turns it back into a liquid, the essential oil (being generally lighter than water, will float on the top and can be skimmed off.

What are fragrance oils? Fragrance oils are blends of natural and artificial chemicals, blended by experts in the same way as perfumes; with fragrance oils they are often used to recreate natural odors, or to produce a 'natural type' scent, which is skin safe.

What are carrier oils? A carrier oil is usually a vegetable or nut type oil which is skin safe and moisturizing. Carrier oils are things such as jojoba, sweet almond, apricot kernel oil, evening primrose, etc. These oils are often used to make massage oils, creams, lotions, soaps, perfumed body oils, and bath oils.

What are Absolute Oils? Absolutes are highly concentrated extracts derived from flowers, bark, or leaves, which is free from waxes and other by-products. And undergo at least two extraction processes.
