Moroccan Chamomile Essential Oil Profile General - Chamomile Morocco a handsome plant, 90-125 cm high with very hairy leaves and tubular yellow flowers, surrounded by white ligulets. Essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the flowering tops. This is one of the more recent oils to appear on the market. Native to north-west Africa and southern Spain, having probably evolved from the very common Ormenis species that grows all around the Mediterranean. Also found growing on the plains in Israel. The oil is distilled in Morocco.

Moroccan Chamomile Oil Uses - Moroccan Chamomile essential oil, Ormensis multicaulis, is one of the more recent oils to appear on the market, it does not have a long history of usage, but it is employed extensively in perfumery work, especially in colognes, chypres and fougere fragrance. Has been used in cases of depression, insomnia, menstrual problems, all skin conditions.

family, including ragweed, should steer clear of this herb. If unsure, consult your doctor or allergist. Do not use for long periods of time. Do
not use the essential oil during pregnancy because it is a uterine stimulant.
